Roulette is, and always will be, one of the classics when it comes to casinos, and the experience has moved online without a hitch.
The game consists of a big wheel and a big platform on which you can place your chips. The wheel, just like the board is numbered 0 to 36 and colours alternate between Red and Black, Zero is Green. The board also includes odd and even, groups of 12, 2 groups from 1-18 and 19-36 and lines between the numbers so you can split the odds between certain possible results. Some tables, like the one below also include a Double 00.
The game begins with the player placing their chips where they feel the ball may land, the game is total luck so do not listen to any systems that many seem to come up with these days. Once you have chosen a few numbers, colours or groups, the dealer will begin to spin the wheel. You will receive 35-1 per each winning number, red and black is 2/1, groups can be 2/1 or 3/1 and splits range from 3.50/1 to 18/1 depending on what you select.
Whilst the wheel is spinning the dealer does provide players the chance to place some last minute bets before calling “No More Bets Please” which means you can no longer place any chips, chips can be removed at this point by the dealer if they feel they have been placed too late. Although there is no real winning system, many players prefer to play the “splits”. IE. They place chips on the cross point of certain numbers, the axis between 5,6,8,9 is quite popular or even spread them out much thicker like placing them on all axis surrounding the 8, 17, 20, 26 or 32.
This does give players more chance of winning something although you will be placing more bets and therefore increase your total stake. Other players prefer to persist with the 2/1 chance which is the bets chance of winning by either betting on red or black, or 1-18 or 19-36, the real stinger being that Zero could come up meaning you lose everything.
Numerous players will always cover this possibility by placing a few chips on the zero as there is nothing more annoying that the ball landing on the green.
Once the ball has landed and the dealer confirms the number, the dealer will collect all losing chips and pay those that are in a winning position.
